There are many household items that may not seem dangerous, but can pose a health/safety risk when moved.  Before you start packing your possessions or leaving your household goods to our packers and movers, it is best to have a plan for giving away hazardous materials, or disposing of them safely.

Hazardous materials Skyline Moving Company cannot transport:

Car Batteries
Charcoal Lighter Fluid
Chemistry Sets
Cleaning Solvents
Darkroom Chemicals
Fire Extinguisher

Flammable, corrosive, or explosive items
Household Batteries
Lamp Oil
Liquid Bleach
Loaded Guns
Motor Oil
Nail Polish

Nail Polish Remover
Paint Thinner
Pool Chemicals
Propane Tanks
Gun Reloading Supplies
Scuba Tanks
Weed Killer

So how do you safely get rid of these things if you have them?  Good question.  You can always give them to a friend, family member, or neighbor who can use them.  Also, most cities have a collection point for hazardous materials.  Give your local or state health department a call and they can point you in the right direction so you can get rid of any of the above list before your packers and movers arrive.
