There are many household items that may not seem dangerous, but can pose a health/safety risk when moved.  Before you start packing your possessions it is best to have a plan for giving away hazardous materials, or disposing of them safely.

So how do I safely get rid of these things if I have them?  Good question.  You can always give them to a friend, family member or neighbor who can use them.  Also most cities have a collection point for hazardous materials.  Give your local or state health department a call and they can point you in the right direction.
